Today we say goodbye to yet another legend. Rest in peace, #JayAdams — you were on hell of a cool cat with a simple passion for riding waves of water and concrete. Hope heaven is just on huge, empty swimming pool next to an ocean with waves that never disappoint.
now this is jay
R.I.P. Jay Adams, original Z-Boy
this isn’t Jay this isn’t even Tony Alva this is Victor Rasuk playing Tony in Lords of Dogtown
this is an apology
I’m so sorry that I am never on this anymore, I have neither the time nor the adderall to post on this blog. I definitely have some wicked rad followers and I’m still getting new ones, so if you’d like me to check out your blog like this or follow me on my main and/or here and I promise to look at all of them. I post daily to those by just reblogging. Maybe one day I’ll be able to come back to this.
Thanks for all the love and support, stay awesome, and be sure to keep up with WhatYouth at their website!
Nti Sheeto: Trailer
Nti Sheeto (Knee-sheet-o) is a 20-minute surf film highlighting the contrast between the psychedelic and magical wonders of Indonesia with the surreal and demented trappings of it’s darker street culture. We love Indonesia for all that it is and this is Dion Agius’ film opus to the region. Coming to WhatYouth.com Friday, August 9th.
Dion Agius literally walked the hard drive from the editing bay out into the parking lot Friday night to play Nti Sheeto for the first time in front of well-over 300 people at our HQ. We warmed up the crowd with a classic screening of Ozzie Wright’s 156 Tricks and then hit play and rocked out for 20 minutes to Dion, Ozzie Wright, Creed McTaggart, Thom Pringle and Warren Smith shredding and jamming all over Indonesia. Afterwards the cops came and made us go inside — which turned into an all-night mini-ramp jam session and before we knew it it was Saturday.
Nti Sheeto is premiering this friday at What Youth’s website
this is definitely one to check out there’s some wicked awesome stuff to look at
